Bachelor of Science in Computer & Information Science (BS CIS)
The BS CIS program (through the College of Arts and Science) offers students a broad, liberal education in the physical sciences, mathematics, and humanities, along with intensive study in computer science.
Complete information about the program is available in the following pages:
- Prerequisites for admission to the major;
- Curriculum;
- Bingo sheet (pdf) (doc) (a checklist of course requirements that you may use to ensure that you have met, or will meet by the time of graduation, all curricular requirements of the BS CIS program);
- Graduation requirements and procedures.
Students may access their Degree Audit Report (DAR) on-line at the University Registrar's site. The DAR is an up-to-date list of courses completed toward the degree and courses yet-to-be taken. The Advising Report available at the same site may also be useful.
The BS-CIS program has not sought accreditation and is not accredited by a commission of ABET, Inc.
