Undergraduate Programs in the OSU Computer Science and Engineering Department

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science & Engineering (BS CSE)

The BS CSE program (through the College of Engineering) offers students a general education in engineering, physical sciences, and mathematics, along with intensive study in computer science.

The BS CSE program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission and the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET. Partly in order to meet accreditation requirements, we have designed and implemented a comprehensive set of processes and tools to assess the program and to use the results of the assessments to identify and implement improvements in the program. For details, please see the assessment page. In particular, please note that prior to graduation, BS-CSE majors are required to complete the exit survey, and to take the newly instituted exit test. To sign up for the test, please check with the Advising Office.

Complete information about the program is available in the following pages:

Students may access their Degree Audit Report (DAR) on-line at the University Registrar's site. The DAR is an up-to-date list of courses completed toward the degree and courses yet-to-be taken. The Advising Report available at the same site may also be useful.

Accreditation Statement: The BS CSE program has been accredited since 1999 by the Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) and by the Computing Accreditation Commission (CAC), both of ABET, Inc.
