Why CSE?
With over 2,600 students enrolled in the CSE department and graduating over 400 BS and 100 MS degrees each year, the Ohio State Computer Science & Engineering department fosters top tier talent through hands on educational opportunities, research, and industry partnerships that prepare graduates to hit the ground running. Student Opportunities
OHI/O’s mission is to foster a tech culture at Ohio State. The program offers students creative building experiences, experiential workshops, and industry connections for skill building and professional opportunities. This is a great way to interact with the most motivated tech talent, those who are eager to learn more and do more outside of the classroom. http://hack.osu.edu

Generally taken in the student's last semester, CSE 5911 and CSE 5915 both use external projects for student teams to develop. These projects may take only one semester or multiple, spanning various cohorts of students. Consider one of those value-add projects you've wanted to add some resources too; all we ask is for some significant design elements. Projects range from website design, chat bots, mobile apps, database design and more. Sign up for alerts here

The department is home to over several student organizations, focusing on specific topics or affinity groups. Most meet regularly and gather for social and educational purposes. Consider meeting with the AI Club, ACM-W, Cybersecurity Club or Open Source Club, and many others found here.
