E-mail is handled centrally by the University Office of the CIO. Legacy Faculty, Staff, Graduate students and Undergraduate students in one of the CSE majors at the time of the transition have had their CSE accounts forwarded to the University E-mail System (UES). Only Faculty and full-time Staff have the choice of using their CSE account as their sending address from the UES system.
Any new CSE student login accounts, Graduate or Undergraduate, and part-time Lecturers and Staff will not have CSE email accounts associated with them. Those users will need to use their University Email.
New CSE Faculty and Staff will have the option of using their UES name.n or a CSE email address as their primary email address.
Students and part-time Lecturers and Staff should contact the University Help Desk at 688-HELP for all email related questions. Faculty and Staff can contact the CSE Help Desk for setup help. We can try to help you troubleshoot email issues, however, we have limited visibility into the University system and may need to have you work directly with the OCIO on more complex issues.
