Introduction to Process Scheduling

This talk will be an undergraduate level introduction to basic concepts of CPU scheduling.  The talk will include a description and analysis of various CPU-scheduling algorithms.

Bio: Anandi Dutta completed her MS (2010) in Electrical Engineering from Louisiana State University. She earned her Doctorate (2016) in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. The dissertation title was "A Smart Design Framework for a Novel Reconfigurable Multi-Processor Systems-on-Chip (ASREM) Architecture." Her research interests are Systems-on-Chip, FPGA, and Machine Learning. Currently, she is working as a Lecturer at Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Texas A&M University. She is actively involved in undergraduate teaching and course development for the last two years.
