Ahmed earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Kent State University (KSU), 2022. He published several research papers in top-tier data engineering conferences and journals including ICDE, VLDB, and TKDE, and reviewed research papers for over than 50 conferences and journals. While at KSU, he taught several Grad/Undergrad level courses including Design and Analysis of Algorithms, Data Structures, and Capstone Projects. His research interests include Graph Databases, Spatial and Social Networks, Query Optimization, and Data Mining.
Currently, he serves as a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Ohio State University. He also serves as a Senior Software Engineer at JP. Morgan & Chase working on machine learning models implementation for Real-Time fraud detection systems.
