Biography

I am a Senior Lecturer with the Ohio State University CSE department. I began teaching with the CSE department in 1997 as a TA while I was still in grad school. After I earned my Master's Degree in 1999, I was hired on as a Faculty Lecturer to teach CSE2111: Modeling and Problem Solving with Spreadsheets and Databases and I taught that course for about 13 years. In 2012, I began coordinating CSE1110: Intro to Computer Technology and teaching sections of it. I also coordinated CSE2501: Social, Ethical and Professional Issues in Computing from 2012 to 2015 and I have been teaching sections of this course almost every semester since 2012. In 2013, I began also teaching CSE1113. In 2016, I began also teaching CSE2112: Modeling and Problem Solving with Spreadsheets and Databases for Engineers. In 2022 I began teaching CSE1223: Introduction to Java.

As of autumn 2022, I am starting my 26th year teaching with the CSE department at the Ohio State University
