Our animation research studies both physically based and data-driven approaches to various animation research problems, including collision, deformation, surface tracking and remeshing, numerical stability, and detail synthesis.  The developed techniques can generate a wide range of animation effects, such as cloth, hair, skin, facial details, fracture, elastic bodies, water, smoke, bubbles and foams.
