Software Systems

Software systems research mainly focuses on the design, implementation and analysis of critical software components or independent software that interact with underlying hardware, aiming at a high utilization and scalability, of the hardware for different application requirements. The on-going software systems research projects include: debugging software for system reliability, compilers and other software tools for both computing- and data-intensive applications on advanced architecture, such as multicore processors and GPUs, energy efficient software for personal and enterprise systems, software designed for deep memory hierarchies and advanced storage systems, and middleware for data analytics on large clusters.
